The chances of a fire accident are likely to occur anywhere. There are many fire safety measures that we can take in order to prevent fire accidents such as implementing some fire safety equipments while building a new house or any building. In all the places where the probability of occurrence of fire is high like petrol bunk, we can provide fire extinguishers. We all know that prevention is better than cure but it’s not always possible to prevent all the consequences in advance. In case if such accidents occur, to save people from it, there are even panic bars implemented on leaf doors which provide an emergency exit for the people during emergency. This panic bars for doors are therefore very essential and effective during emergency.

The chances of a fire accident
October 29th, 2011Stuck in a Metal Tube
October 28th, 2011If taken literally, without the possibility of transformation, the most likely cause for one to be living underwater would be if they were in a submarine. When thinking of this, my mind instantly goes to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. If I were to live underwater for two years, that is where I could see myself. I would do that because scientific reasons for being underwater are things I find fascinating. In particular, the discovery of new routes such as that which connected the Red and Mediterranean Seas in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea are amazing subjects that stretch the imagination.

Heavenly Paradise
October 25th, 2011Heaven is usually considered as the place where the “good” people go when they die. To me, however, I wouldn’t say so much it’s as simple as good and bad. I think it has to do with character. The quality of one’s soul as it pertains to how hard they work, how much they have endured and survived a test. Heaven is a place for all people who have passed away, for their souls to rest. Each religion has its own idea of heaven and there’s no way to know which is right, yet thinking that all others are wrong cannot be true.
Clean is definitely in the eye of the beholder
October 20th, 2011One of the things that I truly hate about my best friend is the level of cleanliness that is missing from our everyday lives. I’m not saying that things need to be spotless all the time; but having to hear that “it is fine”, when you know it could definitely be cleaner, is definitely not fine. However, I’m sure that if I did say this out loud it would only drive a wedge between our relationship and I really don’t want to chance that. I love my best friend and would do anything to keep us friends…..even clean up after a supposed cleaning has already taken place.
Peer pressure isn’t all that it is cracked up to be
October 17th, 2011One of the moments in my life that I would change if I could do it over again is trying marijuana for the first time. I had it in my head that everyone should try it at least once in their lives and since I still hadn’t tried any kind of a drug substance by the time I was thirty, I thought this would be enough to say I did it. In reality, it didn’t make me feel any more grown up or different or even accomplished. In reality doing it just erased one of the things that had made me special.
There really are three things I could eat for the rest of my life
October 14th, 2011Most people say out loud all the time “I could eat this for the rest of my life!” But do they really mean it? I can definitely say, for myself, that there are three things I could eat every day and never grow tired of them. Dr. Pepper, Starbucks frappuccino, and Jack in the Box tacos. Dr. Pepper literally makes me feel happier just having one in my hand. It gives me lift I need and hydrates me in a way I never feel with just plain water. Frappuccinos are filling, cool, refreshing, and I also use them as a meal replacement. Jack in the Box tacos are also filling, taste great and are cheap. I could live the rest of my life eating nothing but these three things and be happy the rest of my life.

Sunsets over the ocean
October 11th, 2011Some of the most beautiful things I have ever seen are the sunsets over the ocean. The brilliant, vibrant colors that reflect off the water are something no words can truly describe. They really look like the hand of God has painted them onto a canvas just for us. Putting it there like proof that he is there for us, watching over us, and showing us there is still beauty in this world. In addition, the sound of the waves rolling in complete the setting so perfectly, it can almost bring tears to your eyes. It brings a peaceful calm over me that I hope everyone gets to appreciate at least once in their lifetime.
Winning the Lottery would change the way I live and my loved ones live
October 6th, 2011If I won the lottery things would change drastically for my family and I. We would use the money to buy a house that we could see ourselves living in the rest of our lives. We would make sure that our loved ones had a place as well that they would never have to worry about having a house payment for again. We would set aside enough money to use for our utilities each month as well, so if there was ever a time we were unemployed, it wouldn’t mean we would be without heat or water, etc. We would give back to the community as much as we could as well. Paying it forward. The lottery shouldn’t be money that just gets thrown away frivolously. It should be used properly and responsibly.
It Is Better To Install One for Our Own Safety
October 3rd, 2011Nobody wants to take a fire lightly and is cautious to the best extent. Still there are times when the fire plays a mischievous way and cause harm to life and property if proper control measure and detecting mechanisms are not in place in office or in homes. Particularly in multi storied buildings though not by our fault somebody else negligence in some other floor will cause a fire. There for it is better to install a carbon monoxide detector alarm in your home which will be very helpful in the event of fire or excessive exhaust fumes to detect the presence of this harmful gas This will help you to take the remedial measure and in case required an evacuation also.
The Thanksgiving Journal Tradition
October 3rd, 2011One year, sitting around the Thanksgiving table, I realized that we were no longer using this time to remember what we were thankful for and that is why the holiday started in the first place. So, to fix this problem, I started a special journal. In this journal I log the date, the people sitting around the table with me, what was on the menu, the events of the day, and most importantly, what I am thankful for. Then I pass the book around the room and ask everyone there to write in it what they are thankful for too. This book has turned into kind of a tradition for my family now. We use it every year and then at the end of the night we sit back and go through the previous years together.
